At Kailash Home, every child carries a unique story, a growing dream, and the potential to shape a brighter future. Through education, mentorship, and a nurturing environment, these students are steadily building confidence, developing their talents, and pursuing ambitions that once felt far beyond reach.

We are proud to share the journeys of some of the remarkable young individuals currently supported through Kailash Home.


Tsering Furba Lama – Aspiring Mechanical Engineer

At 16 years old, Tsering Furba Lama is studying in Grade 11 in the Science stream at Trinity International College. A diligent and focused student, Tsering balances academics with a strong passion for sports, outdoor activities, and creative hobbies such as baking.

Known for his humble and helpful nature, he is widely respected among his peers and often serves as a positive role model within the community. With a clear vision for his future, Tsering hopes to become a mechanical engineer and is working hard each day to turn that ambition into reality.


Bishwas Bika – Growing in Confidence and Determination

Bishwas Bika, aged 14, is currently in Grade 8 at Himshrinkhala Academy. Over the years, he has shown steady academic and personal growth while developing greater confidence in communication and public speaking.

Bishwas enjoys sports and music and excels particularly in English and Social Studies. Although Mathematics remains a challenge, he approaches it with determination and continues to improve through dedicated tutor support and consistent effort.


Karma Sangmo Gurung – Creativity with a Dream to Cook

Thirteen-year-old Karma Sangmo Gurung studies in Grade 3 at Manasarovar Academy. She has a deep love for drawing and cooking and demonstrates a strong interest in Mathematics.

Though naturally introverted, Karma is gradually building confidence through the guidance of teachers and counselors. Her quiet dedication and willingness to learn inspire those around her, and she dreams of becoming a professional chef in the future.


Sonam Tsomo Gurung – Compassionate Learner with Big Dreams

Sonam Tsomo Gurung, aged 12, is a Grade 4 student at Manasarovar Academy. A high-achieving and compassionate student, she enjoys drawing, studying English, and spending time in nature.

Sonam consistently supports her classmates and demonstrates remarkable focus in both her academic and personal development. Motivated by a desire to help others, she dreams of becoming a doctor and continues to work toward that goal with determination and care.


Tenzin Pema Lama – A Future Teacher in the Making

At just 10 years old, Tenzin Pema Lama is already known for her bold, confident, and warm-hearted personality. A Grade 1 student at Manasarovar Academy, she particularly enjoys swimming and performs especially well in English.

Always eager to help others and take responsibility, Tenzin brings energy and kindness wherever she goes. She hopes to become a teacher one day and inspire young learners through her love of education.


Kunga Jedar Bhote – Energetic Leader with a Strong Vision

Kunga Jedar Bhote, aged 8, is a Grade 1 student at Manasarovar Academy. Full of energy and enthusiasm, he loves dancing, drawing, and participating in performances that showcase his lively personality.

Naturally outgoing and confident, Kunga often displays leadership qualities among his peers. With strong determination and ambition, he dreams of becoming an army officer in the future.


Chhildum Lama – Embracing New Opportunities

Twelve-year-old Chhildum Lama recently joined Manasarovar Academy as a Grade 3 student. Despite being a new enrollee, he has quickly adapted to the school environment thanks to his friendly and social nature.

He enjoys playing with friends and actively participating in classroom activities. With a strong enthusiasm for learning, Chhildum is already making impressive academic and personal progress.


Building Hope, One Child at a Time

Every child at Kailash Home represents resilience, possibility, and hope for the future. Through access to education, emotional support, and a caring environment, these students are not only growing academically but also developing the confidence to pursue meaningful dreams.

Their journeys remind us that with encouragement and opportunity, young people can overcome challenges and build futures filled with purpose and potential.
